One month and 3 days ago I underwent rotator cuff repair, subacromial decompression and an acromioclavicular joint resection, which was performed by the brilliant Dr. John MacGillivray. I had taken a nasty fall on the ice back in February, which left me with a full thickness high grade tear of my rotator cuff and several tendons. I was really nervous because I had heard from several people that it was a bad surgery and a very long hard recovery. Well obviously these people had the wrong doctor. Dr. MacGillivray is wonderful and his office staff is amazing. They were so helpful with any questions I had before and after the surgery. My physical therapist Ergo Physical Therapy is amazed at how I am progressing. I am amazed at how well I am doing. Having an excellent doctor perform surgery in the best hospital is the receipt for success. And having the best physical therapist is the cherry on top. Thank you Dr. MacGillivray, Pam, and Veronica! And thank you to my very special therapist's Ron & Chris.
